Monday Night LIVE! @ Café Gratitude is My Baby!

Monday Night LIVE! @ Cafe Gratitude was a series of 86 free, live, educational speaking events that took place between January 12th, 2009 and November 15th, 2010. All events took place at Café Gratitude's Healdsburg location. The events featured presenters, authors, demos, films and panels primarily focusing on the raw food lifestyle, but also included health, spirituality and green living.

My name is Shea Lynn Baird, and in January of 2009, I began a collaboration with Cafe Gratitude in a project to build and educate our local comunity. The project / event was called “Monday Night LIVE! @ Café Gratitude” and, as the name implies, took place live, on Monday nights, at the Healdsburg Café Gratitude.

The first year (2009) the speaker line up was INCREDIBLE! The project kicked off in January with Matthew and Terces Engelhart – the owners of Café Gratitude, and the authors of ‘The Abounding River’, and “Sacred Commerce.” They were followed by Happy Oasis (the founder of Raw Spirit Festival), Elaina Love (internationally known raw chef, author and coach), and Laura Fox (the voice of Raw Inspiration Radio)! The line up goes on to include: Dr.'s Rick and Karin Dina, Lydia Kindheart, Kevin Gianni, Cheri Soria, Dr. Doug Graham, Paul Nison, John Kohler, Melissa Mango, Dina Knight, Matt Samuelson, Gabrielle Brick, Matt Monarch, Angela Stokes and Bunny Berry!!! We previewed the documentary, "May I Be Frank?" to a standing room only crowd, and also had 4 different panels (raw chefs, raw athletes & raw doctors), all of which have been turned into ebooks!

The second year, 2010, Monday Night LIVE hosted another very impressive list including: Daniel Vitalis, Chaya-Ryvka, Michael Bedar & "Simply Raw", Dina Knight, Frank Giglio, Abeba Wright, Dr, Michael Klaper, Dan McDonald - the LifeRegenerator, Steve Meyerowitz - the Sproutman, Melissa Mango, Annmarie Gianni, Ronnie & Minh, DreamingBear Baraka kanaan, Singing Bear, Cherie Soria, Elaina Love, Jason Wrobel, John Kohler, Cecilia Benjumea-Kinzie, Nomi Shannon, Diana Stobo, Rhio, Dr. Elson Haas, Dr. Will Tuttle, and Dr. Brian Clement! We also have many panels this year: TrueNorth Fasting Center Panel, Dhyana Center Ayurveda Panel, and a Breast Health Panel.

For the time being we have decided not to restart Monday Night LIVE! for 2011. We may come back to it later in the year, or even for 2012. In the meantime we will not be sending out weekly newsletters, but you can still sign up and get access to several of our favorite event videos and also be notified when/if we begin again. (If we start again, and you are on the newsletter list, you will get weekly access to videos of the events.)
